the persecution of christians which he says is increasing. >> good friday prayers. we shouldn't be silent about it. pretty clear christians persecuted around the world. this comes on the heels of the attack this week in kenya. in fact, the vatican's official preacher also accused the rest of the world on being silent on christian prosecution. he mentioned the beheadings of the 22 cop pick christians as well as they very clear in the christian persecution around the world. >> it's great to hear from the pope about this. you know, you also wonder where are the other christian leaders around the world and from the united states condemning this. and telling their congregants not just to pray to try to get these -- this terrorism to be eradicated but it maybe write your congressman and try to. >> take action. >> get the government to do a little bit more about it. >> call it what it is the white house issuing statement on horrifying murders at the school in kenya near the somali

border. leaving out the fact that it is a fact that the 150 odd people were killed were killed because of their faith. they were christians. it was left to the pope to say that the rise of homegrown terror feds nab a third woman who allegedly plan to become a martyr for isis. >> this is amazing out of philadelphia. her name is key own that thomas. she was in touch online with an unknown isis fighter in syria. she was communicating online with them. at one point the isis fighter even asks her is she ready to become a martyr she says, quote: that would be amazing. a girl could only wish that she wanted to join isis in syria. isis has released a number of videos specifically targeting young women to try to recruit them. >> the woman that you saw in that second photograph there is known as the lionness apparently. the other two women were from queens, new york. they are related to one another. they are friends and used to be roommates with one another. usama bin laden lovers having pictures of them on

their cell phone and they wanted of to target public places. they even wanted to target the funerals of the slain officers here in new york city which, you know, makes you feel awful as a new yorker. you really take it personal when they are thinking about rafael ramos. >> it's almost unbelievable in perversity. not an isolated case. this is the sixth american in under three weeks for allegedly plotting it to join isis. what is going on here? what is the thread that ties these cases together? ray kelly the former new york city police commissioner and recognized as one of the great police commissioners in the city of new york was asked this question on greta last night and this is what he said. >> it's ongoing battle. it's not easy. every day is a challenge. we see people who are surfacing that really i we haven't seen before. as you say, a lot of the radicalization is coming about just on the internet. they see these films that are done, very

sophisticated very well done these recruitment films. so many of them will show you pictures of the world trade center. they are so proud of that and so focused on new york. >> it started with "inspire" magazine and gotted so much more sophisticated. >> i was been fascinated by. this film, full length feature almost hollywood like films one of them called the clanging of the swords 4. so that means there are three other ones before clanging of the swords 4. it's a hurt locker style slow motion. they show you the slow motion bombings of ied attacks as other recruitment tools. highly polished, highly produced. how they take in social media has been fascinating to me. they actually built an app. that terrorists can join. so they download this app. it's called the dawn of glad tidings. so they download this app. they are able to swarm social media make things

viral by all launching social media threads at the same time. that's how all these things spread. building online tools for recruitment. it's not just some guy tweeting. it's a focused attack. >> in order to -- the medium is there. they are very sophisticated i agree. you need willing participants. where are they coming from? we imported them. almost everybody who has joined up or tried to is the immigrant or children of immigrant. the obama administration is importing hundreds of thousands of people from countries where radical islam is the norm is that having an effect? it is. >> not forcing assimilation either. >> exactly. >> i will say one thing about this spread of social media to their advantage. also a detriment to them one of the women were caught because they showed pictures of them. >> we known fighter in syria nabbed her now she is

stole a bread truck, drove it to the airport sprinted past a check point while screaming i'm pablo. i will be remain must. he ran through unguarded exit door into a terminal. crossing a jet bridge and nearly making it on to a plane. pablo's brush with fame ended after a pilot tackled him. he was promptly arrested and charged with trespassing. and a sailor found alive after 676 lost days at sea now back at his home this morning. jordan says he survived by rationing food, catching fish and drinking rainwater. jordan says it was his faith that kept him going after his ship capsized during a january fishing trip. >> the waves were huge the wind was strong. yib that because i'm an inexperienced sailor. i haven't had a lot of time on the water. and i was just praying to god, you know, please protected me. >> and his prayers were answered. a german container ship

yesterday brought flooding into the louisville area and a lot of hail and lightning reached ports and very strong winds. that was all part of this heavy rain system that moved across the louisville area. that brought incredible flooding. rivers elevated levels also the area that got so much snow this winter the ground is saturated and it exacerbates the problem. severe weather element of it beginning to weaken. rainy pattern across the south for the next four to five days. take a look at this. snow across parts of new england this morning. same system leaving colder air here and watch snow dive in across parts of new england. clipper system overnight. snow not done across parts of northeast. that's what happens this time of year. >> let's turn our attention now to 2016. all eyes on the election. and ted cruz has launched the first campaign ad of the

welcome back on easter weekend. a day before easter. christians around the world under attack. holy week has been riddled with violence. what needs to be done to protect christians in america? >> pastor robert jeffress is in dallas to answer that good morning, and thanks for being with us. >> good morning. >> good morning. >> so what do you say? >> well, i think what happened in kenya is just horrific. but it's just the latest in a long line of atrocities being committed against christians today by radical islam. and i believe it is time for us to stand up and say enough. recently i called on members of my congregation to join all christians and jews and freedom-loving americans to demand that this administration do whatever is necessary to eradicate

radical islam. we handed out telephone numbers for the white house and our senators. we had thousands of our members make those phone calls saying enough is enough. and, look, i believe we must do that right now because look, they are not going to stop in kenya. these radical islamics are not going to stop in the middle east. they are coming after every one of us if we don't do something. >> everybody agrees enough is enough. pick up the phone and calling their congressman, what should they be asking them to do? >> i think they should be asking them to take whatever means necessary in order to erratic caught radical islam. look, noble has any appetite for incursion into the middle east. i understand that but i also understand that we have to put an end to this because they are coming after every one of us. israeli prime minister netanyahu said the nazis were trying to establish the master race. radical islam is trying to establish the master faith. in the end it's all the same, world domination.

willing to be executed for their faith. that's because they embrace the message of the resurrection. you look back 2,000 years ago and on that first good friday the disciples were despondent. their leader had had been crucified. it looked like the christian message was dead on arrival. but then came sunday. and an empty grave and their whole perspective changed and gave them the courage to stand for their faith. you know today it looks like christianity is losing. not just around the world but it looks like it's losing in america, too. but i want to remind people although it's friday, sunday's coming and one day the kingdom of god is going to triumph. good will triumph over evil and that is the ultimate message of easter. >> that is the message and it's an inspiring one. pastor, thanks for joining us this morning, happy easter. >> happy easter to you. >> he was stranded at seas for 66 days. one man lives to tell the tale and thanks god for his

we have an awful lot of headlines, here are are some. breaking overnight. an american citizen has been released after 8 long years locked in a chinese prison. is he a geologist and convicted on quote, espionage charges working overseas in 2007. china claimed his research on oil wells come pro-midz its national compromised its national security. tea party groupings. the irs must hand over a list of nearly 300 organizations that were scrutinized unfairly as they applied for tax exempt status. the group is now considering a class action lawsuit after the agency admitted to playing political favorites with the tax code.

him. what did you see when you got on scene? what did he look like? his name was louis jordan. what did he look like. >> actually we were really surprised by his condition. once we got and there hovering over we saw him standing outside. we were expecting him to have a broken shoulder and to be in a lot worse condition than he really was. we were really excited to see him standing. no splint on his shoulder. he was doing well. >> todd how did he survive? >> i can't say how he survived. i don't know what he had on his boat before he left. i do know that there is a human will that he probably had that let him help him survive the ordeal. it was nice for him to be able to take that and see it all the way through and us to get him back to his family. >> kyle, it was a big issue for fuel for you guys trying to rescue him. how far at sea was it and how much fuel did you have? maybe you guys were going to rupp out of fuel?

>> >> you know it was one of those things where we took off, knowing approximately where he was but we worked with the u.s. george bush, we refuel there to make sure we had enough fuel. obviously biggest concern there is running out of fuel. taking fuel at that point is the best option we had. >> what did you give him when you got up in the aircraft? did you have any food on hand? how do you treat after 66 days without large amounts of food how do you prepare for that? >> well normally you don't want to feed someone that hasn't eaten for so long or wasn't hydrated. you want to give them very very beings increments of water. he was able to sustain a good source of food and water. by the time we pulled him off the vessel they actually gave him a good meal and water as well. we didn't have to worry about that issue in the cabin. >> home and shower and shave. get cleaned up. todd farrell and kyle mccomb,thank you for your

easter sunday. showers texas, oklahoma and arkansas late in the day and rain out across parts of the west. overall, things are not looking all that bad. today, if you are making your plans, we have more snow across interior sections of new england that we're going to be messing with and we also down across the mid-atlantic just fine. leftover scattered rain showers from all of this severe weather. temperatures far cooler and across the northern plains we have a pretty pretty mild day. >> good driving weather my son. >> boy isn't that the truth? the biggest car show on the continent. new york auto show revving up this weekend debuting some of the hottest new cars. >> latest technology in some of these. here is mark with the auto club. >> i love getting our hands on these cars before the rest of the people do. >> it was hard getting it out of the auto show. >> start with nissan. drowsy driving is a big problem. people getting in car accidents all the time.

big issue. >> definitely. rick has the next one. >> this is a chrysler 300. luxury sedan. chrysler is doing great stuff. >> yes, it is. incredible. as a matter of fact, all these cars are about the same price point $31,000. this actually includes an app. so that you can actually map yourself. you can be able to get an email on somebody where you need to meet. you don't have to touch anything. it will set the directions where you need to go on it. >> you know, this is an interesting -- talking about apps on the phone. you set something up on your phone before you take off and then it plays it in your car. so you don't have to be messing around with stuff in your car while you are driving. >> set it. tells you where to go. coffee in the morning and need to know where the closest coffee place is. this will set it and you can go for it. >> one other great thing this does. brake assist so that if people in front of you are starting to brake quickly, it will actually control the car and start to brake you. and it will look around the car in front of you and be

able to do the same thing if a car is slowing down in front of the vehicle that's in front of. >> you mark, you and i have been doing this stuff for a long time. tell me, when you still come to these auto shows, how excited do you get about the new technology each year. >> fabulous what's going on. always been technology on cars and fuel mixtures. now relationship between the motorist and car itself. >> people don't want to god manipulate any van route but car they can fit inside the new ford edge has some cool tech in it too. >> tremendous. >> tremendous car on here. ford has done great products over the last number of years. what this actually will be able to do is be able to tell what you kind of weather conditions that you are having or where your road map is it also does have again, cameras that go 360 degrees around the car. and in bad weather snow and these cameras are in front and rear, it will actually have a little bit of a washer and it will spray the

condition. once we got there, we were hovering over here he was standing outside. we were expecting him to have a broken shoulder, and a lot worse condition than he really was, but we were really excited to see him standing no splint on his shoulder and he was doing well. >> todd, how did he survive? >> i can't say how. i don't know what he had on his boat before he left. i do know that there is a human will that he probably had that helped him survive the ordeal. and it was just nice for him to be able to take that and to get him back to his family. >> kyle it was a big issue for fuel to rescue him. how far out and what was the fuel concern you had? maybe you guys were going to run out of fuel? >> it was one of the things where we took off knowing approximately where he was, but we worked with the u.s., george bush, we refuelled there to make sure we had enough fuel. obviously a big concern there is running out of fuel. so you know, taking more fuel at that point was the best option
